Saw August Rush yesterday.

I love the scoring. One sequence where Evan Taylor/August Rush (Freddie Highmore of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fame) stood in the middle of bustling New York reminded me of Stomp's performances. He was just there, standing, turning, absorbing the sounds (noise for our tainted ears).

Making sense of the nonsense. Stomp-ish, indeed.

And the soundtrack. The soundtrack was beautifully simple/simply beautiful.

I wish I knew where to download the soundtracks.

The feel-good-inspiring drama was bearable.

If they just didn't cast Robin Williams...
